With the Lord Mayor of Birmingham
I was delighted to share an exhibition with my fellow artist which ran at the Harborne Gallery, Greenfield Road, Harborne, from Friday 14th August – Saturday 10 October 2015 and was generously supported by local solicitors’ Tyndallwoods. Jane creates stunning work with up cycled textiles – extremely tactile and full of humour. The exhibition was exclusively devoted to hens! We both believe that hens have an amazing therapeutic contribution to make to people’s lives and our exhibition aimed to show what beautiful, intelligent, humorous birds they are, and perhaps make you consider keeping your own!
Lady Jane and I were delighted to welcome the Lord Mayor of Birmingham to our exhibition. We are also proud to announce that as well as plenty of sales, our raffle raised £328 for our charity British Hens Welfare Trust.
I was thrilled that one of my prints was chosen to appear in a full page photo in the ‘Mail on Sunday’ in an article by comedienne Miranda Hart on 7th December 2014.
